What a great time we had! It was 4 of us girls and the bride and we had a blast. There was some of this
(yes that is me on the very right. Note to self, short hair that can't be put in a ponytail makes for not-so-flattering hair do. Pack hats!) We got to see 3 different types of whales, a sea lion, and a mola mola fish. It was pretty neat.
One of the whales came up with it's mouth open, then went back down. All of us groaned due to the smell of raw sewage in the air. We were then told what we were smelling was whale poop. Yum! That's something that wasn't in the brochure. After our whale watching adventure we went to a brewery for a much anticipated dinner. After getting a taste of their great beer the girls bought 2 gallon jugs of it,
You bet that was used for our "party by the campfire" later that evening.

The Bride was given appropriate bachelorette gifts, opened by the campfire with her headlamp.

This is her reading her romance novel. Since when did headlamps become the new flash light? Everyone at the campground had headlamps. I have to admit they were pretty convenient, except when someone wearing one looked directly at you. It gives a whole new meaning to "don't shine the light in someone's eyes."
The weekend came and went, with a trip to the beach, hot dogs with bacon and a ton of s'mores. One of the girls thought it'd be interesting to bring Reese's for the s'mores. This was ingenius and not to mention DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend it.
When it came time to pack up camp the rain came in (which we were ready for).

We embraced ourselves for our 10 hour drive home, back to the snow. When I got home, 12 hours after we left that morning, Sir Sunderland and Sophie were on the couch reading and I was greeted with a sweet note.

Now it is back to normal life again. All of my campfire smoke smelling/marshmallow clad clothes are in the washer, the bed is made, pets fed, and I am off to work. At least I have a lovely sun burned forehead to show from my awesome vacation.

Welcome back! That sounds like a very nice weekend with your girlfriends. :) I've never heard of hot dogs with bacon so you may have to explain that one for me!
I thought that was you on the left??
