Cards!

This is what happens when I have a lot of extra time on my hands, get a paper cutter (for only $10, thank you Michael's coupons!), new ink pads and finally using my awesome color laser printer (thank you Lollychops for the amazingly free downloads). This one was sent to my sister-in-law who is working at a Christian camp this summer. You can find the already designed template here, complete with the owls (or birds if you prefer). And this one is going to the "lucky number" in our card swap (everyone sends her a card this month).

Last year I jumped on the inkadinkadoo stamp sets that Costco had, but never really got too creative with them. While I was out picking up my paper cutter (which I have wanted forever) I couldn't help but notice the stamp pads were on sale too! I picked up a 4 pack of metallic colors and you can see how it took off from there. I love how I can integrate one design throughout the card and the envelope. I'm so excited I have actual finished products and people who I can send them to. The next step will be using my own scrapbook paper and getting creative (meaning not using somebody else's cut and paste templates).
