The wedding was up in Tahoe City at this gorgeous little place called River Ranch Lodge. The weather did not cooperate. We have had evening thunderstorms since Monday, and on Saturday it decided to drizzle all day. We all expected it to be moved inside, but much to our surprise it was still outside, just under umbrellas and tents. Being higher up in elevation, it was FREEZING. The view was spectacular, on a terrace overlooking the wooded river.
We were sat at Table 12, which originates from the first one of our group to get married back in 2005. We were the college party table, if you will. The college friends have sat at table 12 ever since.
The people at the Lodge were pouring booze like it was going out of style. Never have I been to a wedding where the wine glasses were refilled more often than the water! Sir Sunderland had to specifically ask for more water, as the waiter was refilling wine glasses. Oh, how I love weddings.
