A Girl and Her Monkey

We thought for awhile there that Gwen's token childhood toy attachment had become Elmo (breathe a huge sigh of relief with me, as Elmo is easily replaceable). Little did we know, creeping up behind Elmo was a little stuffed monkey. Elmo is so a thing of the past. Monkey has over thrown Elmo for the title of Gwyneth's favorite stuffed animal and can be found under her arm every minute of everyday. If we can't find Monkey we just ask Gwyneth where he is. She'll run directly to where he is hidden, apparently from adult sight and rescue him with an exclamation only reserved for such affection of a little girl and her stuffed animal.












 


And of course, he was a gift from almost 2 years ago, a Valentine's Day themed monkey from Carter's with which we will never be able to find another again. Thank goodness we've been reading Knuffle Bunny Free.
