Bananas to Bread

When your bananas start looking like this, it’s time to make this:

Deliciously Sweet Banana Bread
3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 ½ cups flour

Preheat over to 350 F. Mix butter into mashed bananas. Mix in sugar, egg and vanilla. Add baking soda and salt to mixture. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into loaf pan, bake for 45 minutes. Cool on a rack, slice and enjoy!

Recipe adapted from Simply Recipes' original.

Sometimes I can actually find overripe bananas in the store and buy them for dirt cheap just to make banana bread. Hubs doesn't understand why I buy "bad" bananas but he sure does love my banana bread. :}
