Last night two of the guy's girlfriends came over to hangout to celebrate the end of the school semester. We wound up watching The Real Housewives of New York City.Me: "God, since when did long bangs come back into style? Geesh!"
Girl 1: "Well, it looks bad on older people but but younger people can pull it off."
Me: (Look at girl 2 who has long bangs that were pulled back)
"Exactly, see Girl 2 can pull them off, but they can't."
Girl 2: Dirty look ensues
Me: Insert foot into mouth
I've already thanked Girl 1 for saving my butt. Her response was that it was no big deal and funny. I have a feeling Girl 2 does not feel the same. Oops!
