We had a busy Mother's Day chuck full of brunch, church, unidentified nest of with 20 eggs in it, and a trip to Grandma's. I'm not going to lie, I was exhausted. Never mind the fact that we were out late the night before playing Rockband and enjoying the company of our friends, but it was a LONG day.
We began by picking up the college kids at their dorms. I'm not sure what it is but we can say we will be there are 9:30 am and sit and wait for at least 10 minutes before them coming to meet us. We were on time (for once) to pickup the kids when one of them forgot their Mother's Day gift. We were then 30 minutes late for church and missed out on our See's Candies sucker. We then went out for brunch in the charming downtown quarters of Gardnerville followed by present opening at the in-law's.
We were then roped into going to Grandma's for some moving boxes where Sir Sunderland fixed her tv, I filled up her bird feeder and bird bath and the kids hung up her new humming bird feeder we got her. I was thrilled to get to play "yard" and water her (dying) plants out front.
On our way home we were greeted with a ton of traffic where we then read in the local newspaper (on the iphone) about this bizarre story. Our hour ride home turned into 2 hours and we came home to our messy apartment.
The End.
