We've been traipsing through this desert for 2 years now and there is surprisingly some natural plant life in its seemingly barren landscape.
While tending to Sir Sunderland's grandmother's neglected front yard last weekend, I had a pang for a yard of my own. With things to water, mow, tend to and even weed. Our plan is to move out of this apartment come December, which couldn't come fast enough. As for now and the next 7 months, I will seek out the beauty of our current "backyard" as best as I can.

Not too bad... desert landscape can be beautiful even when it's a big mass of dirt!! Hope you get your yard soon!

I would love to have a big backyard like that of my own! :) I have a friend who lives in Sparks NV. She says she's high up in the mountains and she loves the view! I love all the pictures you took - breathtaking!
