An Afternoon in the Park

On the last day of my glorious 3 day weekend I was bored. Come Sunday I had already taken the dog for 2 walks and gone to the movies. Monday, I had lunch with the bride from Wedding #1 to catch up on how their honeymoon went. After lunch I drove around confused on what to do with the rest of my day. After running some errands and browsing through TJMaxx I came home, got the dog and off we went to the park down the street.

We setup our blanket and I read my book. Sophie enjoyed the grass (within leash distance) while I read and enjoyed the scenery.
As I was getting restless and wondering when we should leave, the afternoon thunder clouds rolled in and began to drop their little sprinkles. Talk about a sign!
