Aren't Flats Supposed to be Comfortable?

Before you run off vowing never to read this blog again, due to the lack of fashion sense, please know this is what I wore to walk the dog this morning. A very brief walk of about 10 minutes. You see, I got these shoes for the wedding. They are adorable and seem as if they would be comfortable. Wrong! They gave me blisters on the heel and where the cute little button meets the foot. Typically they would get chucked into our shoe bin in the closet and never worn again, except for when I have no other shoe options.

This, however isn't my first time with a run in with Payless flats. I have an adorable pair of black patent leather flats that did the same thing.
Solution? Wear socks until they are broken in.
Problem? This ain't the way you're supposed to be wearing the adorable things.

So, I do what I can. Wear them when taking the dog out, while in my pajamas when nobody sees me. Or I wore them with big white socks over the weekend when it was just us and the guys. What do they care? You'll see, I'll be wearing these broken in babies sans blisters in no time!

Love the shoes. Love the socks. But just not together:). However, great idea.

at least you got the magic formula figured out! i have a cute pair of flats from payless that fortunately did not give me any pain but they make my feet a bit on the smelly side. sorry, it's the truth!
