Chalkboard Paint Upcycle

I had bought this bulletin board on sale at Target on a whim. It then sat in the office unused for a year, because there was really no need for it. We have one exactly like it in the kitchen, so it wasn't necessary there.

Enter the chalkboard paint.

Man, that stuff is addicting. After using it once I imagined anything and everything in our home that could be transformed into a chalkboard. I popped the back off of the bulletin board and realized it was a flat surface.

I knew what had to be done.It now serves as an adorable reminder board/calendar for my wacky schedule in our kitchen. Even Sir Sunderland said he thought I was crazy, but in the end it turned out alright. Now, what can I transform next?

Looks good! I LIVE by my planner and can't answer anyone's "can you do... on ...." questions without looking at it. That's in regards to work and babysitting though. I just write other random stuff in it and two glorious weeks in July are FREE!!!!!
