On the one hand I couldn't run out of that place faster than if it was on fire. On the other, it is the job I've gone to daily for the past two and a half years. It's familiar and to take that away is kind of scary. But don't you worry, I have the reminders of what an awful atmosphere the place really was:
- Upon leaving on my last day, I had to listen to a fellow employee whine about another employee
- I reek of coffee
- My manager gave me a going away card, that effectively tried to make me feel bad for leaving
- Nobody cared about me and I didn't care about them after working together for two and a half years. I never exchanged a "lets keep in touch" to a single fellow employee.
