Apparently there's a Letter Carrier's Food Drive on the second Saturday of each May. I've never known about it because, well I've never had a mailbox.
As a new homeowner with a crooked mailbox shaped like my house, I see it as a duty to load up a bag full of delicious (not the crap I donated during xmas time to get bargains here and there. You know you do it!) perishables for my mailman to escort to the food bank. It's almost too easy.........
