The Cure Is Movies and Lots of Them

Well, everyone, needless to say the first trimester has been a rocky road. If I'm not nauseous I'm exhausted. I've tried everything in the book to cure the nausea and have come to the conclusion that eating constantly, Coke (in moderation) and walks are the things that help the most. Too bad it doesn't make it disappear completely. How have women been doing this for all this time? I'd like to think everyone survives the first trimester with minimal sickness. At least I've never met a two month pregnant woman who's curled up in a ball while simultaneously throwing up. Then again, the only pregnant women I've ever known were my sister and mom's friend, and I wasn't around them during their first trimester.

So, to avoid having this post be a pity fest, I'd like to share with you what I've been doing. Movies, lots of movies. Here are just a few I've seen in the past week:
This is only a sampling of the mass amount of movies I've been watching. Lucky for me, we canceled our cable and got Netflix to save money. So, I'm off to watch Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn in Housesitter before I call it a night!

I loved It's Complicated - especially that scene with him on the bed and the computer. Priceless! Hang in there. I used to keep saltine crackers on the nightstand. I would eat them before I even got up to go the bathroom. Helped a lot.
