Dishes

Lately Gwyneth likes to pull a chair over to the kitchen sink, climb up and do our dishes for us. The thing is, she actually does them. She rinses out the bowls and cups, uses the scrubby brush and then dumps the water (usually) into the sink. Sometimes she gets a little confused and dumps the bowl towards herself, but for the most part she does pretty well.

We're still learning that you don't just throw the dishes in the general direction of the dishwasher, but she's doing a pretty good job and so far none have been broken. 

This is definitely something her daycare has let her do, that we would have never thought to allow her to do herself. It's funny how she shows us what she's capable of and constantly surprises us with the things she can do. You know, like do the dishes.
