Pumpkins & Chalk Don't Mix

Well, my super amazing pumpkin, chalkboard paint and chalk place cards ended up not working out so well. I won't even begin with the fact that pumpkins of course rot, and that the sheer hardness of a piece of chalk digging into a soft pumpkin just doesn't work out. In comes the chalk pen to save the day! It didn't dig into the pumpkin, and got the job done.
It's always a bummer when ideas don't work out, but it's always important to keep in mind that you'll never know unless you try.
