Pick Me! Pick Me!

So today I kind of slept in. To anyone who knows me, sleeping in is actually my forte and really nothing short of a surprise. Well what an awful day to pick to sleep in! The SITStas over at The Secret is in the Sauce (SITS) were hosting their Spring Fling today, where they have giveaways on the hour every hour. They also encouraged all their members (there are A LOT, myself included) to host their own giveaways on their blogs. There were over 300! Little did I know how amazing it was and how I’d spend my entire day visiting blog after blog, commenting and commenting, entering to win Target gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, and some cute homemade goodies.

According to Sir Sunderland, I am a Sunderland, so I won’t win anything. I refuse to believe it. I’ve spent months, entering magazine and talk show giveaways daily, and now weeks entering blog giveaways to no avail. I know that one win is out there. I don’t care what it is, I just want to win!

Anywho, I figured I’d share some of the awesome stuff I found out there, or I thought I would. Etsy has plenty of sharing options, but Blogger is unfortunately not one of them. As I’m sure an Etsy seller wouldn’t mind me promoting their business, I’m definitely not going to go off breaking copyright laws somewhere. So, lets just say I found some awesome jewelry, some great gifts and purses that I will continue to keep my fingers crossed that I win. Even if I don't, I know I'll be back to half the shops to pickup some items. I love the idea of buying homemade. I can't exactly afford the supplies or lack the talent/patience for some things and other people do it so well! Why not support that?

Wishful Winning Update: I won!!!! Today when I checked my email I was greeted with an email with the subject: "You Won my Giveaway!" I immediately began squeeling to my husband as his friends that were over said, take that no winning Sunderland! I won a mini gift basket from Heather at A Little Pink trying to Swim in a Sea of Blue. Thank you Heather!
