Flower School

May I present to you my very first floral arrangement.
For the past week and a half I have been attending the local community college's Floral Industry Training class to pursue my dream of becoming a florist. After a week of listening about customer service (I work in retail!) or how to be a sales person (again, retail) they finally let us play with flowers.
Our first lesson, the "pyramid" form. Can you see it? I am by no means bragging about my first arrangement (it was my teacher's idea to put those red roses in there), but I have to say it's a start!

Way to go! It's a lot harder than it looks isn't it? Your first arrangement is TONS better than mine. Mine looked like someone grabbed a flowering shrub and jammed it into a vase. I can totally see the pyramid shape in this one. Good luck with your new career!

Gorgeous, but I would have to disagree with the red rose decision.

As a former (and fellow) student of all things florally arranged, I have to say nice job!
