When driving up the street to our parking lot I noticed this giant Jurassic looking plant. Before it bloomed it seriously looked like something that would snatch up a small child walking by.
It continues to grow and bloom and only gets creepier and creepier.
I'm assuming it's some native cactus plant, as there are quite a few smaller ones popping up through the
backyard. That doesn't mean I can't be freaked out by it every time Sophie and I walk by. It could very well snatch Sophie right up (as most Jurassic plants would).

yikes thats a funky looking plant!! i'd be scared to walk by it too!
That is definitely not pretty. And where did it come from? And yet you still manage to walk past it every day? You are some kinda brave!
