These are the type of weeks I enjoy, the quiet, standard week where you have to really search for things to do. Lucky for you we've done the searching already so you can keep it simple. Here are five things to do this week, that have been selected from our events calendar.
During the Week
Tuesday, February 21st
1. Craft Time at South Valleys Library
2. Free Movie Matinee: Dolphin Tale at Spanish Springs Library
3. Washoe County Library Storytimes:
Throughout the week the local libraries host a slew of awesome storytimes. Preschool, toddler, baby, princess, the children can even read to a gentle therapy dog! I invite you to take a look at all the different types of story times here and for the dates and times visit the Washoe County Library’s website.
The Weekend
Saturday, February 25th
4. Special Storytime Honoring Black History Month at Barnes & Noble
5. Bartley Ranch Concert-
A $3 (can we say cheap, quality family entertainment?) donation is asked to see Contraband, "a band composed primarily of Reno-based doctors and fellow musicians. They play many different styles of music, and have been described as both a rock and folk band."
